On November 11th 2017, key club hosted their first park clean-up at Albert Pallit park From 3 p.m to 5 p.m, members of the club threw away anything that didn’t belong in the park. Items such as straws, bed frames, barbecue grills, and even a numerous amount of candy sized plastic bags. What really stood out though, was when the members of the club ran into what looked like a crime scene; a hole surrounded by ropes, a boot, and yellow tape. This years clean up had the biggest turnout compared to previous years which means people are getting more inspired to help. Daniela Segura Lara claims “key clubs purpose is to help out the community”. The next event will occur at Crandon park beach from 3 p.m to 5 p.m, they will be accepting any volunteers that would like to help out.
